Plantain flour is made from African green plantain. It is a popular staple food in Africa and the Caribbean. It can be made into fufu amd amala, or used as an alternative to wheat flour in dishes such as pancakes, cookies, brownies, and so on.
 
It is also rich in iron and potassium, and very delicious.
